ToggleWhat Should I Expect from an LPN Program in Michigan?
An LPN program in Michigan will prepare you to work as a licensed practical nurse in the state. The program will cover a variety of topics, including anatomy and physiology, nursing fundamentals, medical terminology, and pharmacology. You’ll also gain clinical experience through hands-on training in a healthcare setting. Upon completing the program, you’ll be eligible to take the NCLEX-PN exam to earn your LPN license.
LPN Classes in Michigan
The classes you’ll take as part of your LPN program will vary depending on the school you attend. However, there are some common core courses that all LPN programs in Michigan must cover. These include:
- Anatomy and physiology
- Nursing fundamentals
- Medical terminology
- Pharmacology
In addition to these core courses, you’ll also have the opportunity to take elective courses that focus on specific areas of interest. For example, some students may choose to take classes on geriatric care or pediatric care.
